Love, Laughter, and Bubbles: Rachel & Marcello's Magical Timber Barn Wedding in St. Jacobs

Rachel and Marcello's August wedding at The Timber Barn in St. Jacobs, Ontario, was a dreamy celebration full of surprises, laughter, and some seriously fun moments that made it unforgettable.

The day kicked off with the excitement of getting-ready photos, capturing those sweet, pre-ceremony moments when nerves and anticipation fill the air. Rachel was absolutely glowing, and we couldn’t resist snapping a few portraits against Timber Barn's iconic gemstone wall, which added an extra touch of elegance and charm to the shots.

Then came the first big surprise of the day! Rachel’s mom arranged for a horse-drawn carriage to take her to the riverside ceremony. Cue the gasps and happy tears! Watching her arrive in such a fairy-tale fashion was a heartwarming moment none of us will forget.

The ceremony itself was overflowing with emotion. There were smiles, laughter, and even a few tears (the good kind!) as these two soulmates exchanged their vows. Just when we thought we’d seen it all, Rachel and Marcello added a twist to the traditional flower girl role by having bubble boys. Armed with bubble guns, they sprayed the audience with bubbles galore, adding a playful and whimsical touch that had everyone laughing and ducking to avoid a cloud of bubbles.

After the ceremony, we headed back to Timber Barn for the reception, which kept the fun rolling. There were heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and so many smiles all around. But the night wasn’t over yet! We snuck away during blue hour, capturing some romantic shots as the day turned to dusk. The quiet moment alone gave Rachel and Marcello a chance to soak in the day together before rejoining the crowd.

And when we made it back, it was to a dance floor filled with energy! Everyone was celebrating, dancing, and creating memories that are sure to bring smiles for years to come.
